A Design mix is a concrete which has been designed to comply with a compressive strength denoted by the class of mix i.e. C10.
Always reference the last number i.e. C25/30 = C30; C40/50 = C50; this denotes the strength of the concrete.
C mixes are involved in laboratory testing to ensure the required strength grade, durability and workability is assured before production.
Strength grades range from 10 Newtons (C10) through to high strength concrete mixes available online at 50 Newtons (C50).
Low Strength Concrete

C mixes ranging from C10 to C25 have a lower cement content in comparison to C40 and C50 mixes. C10 to C25 mixes are perfect for projects where strength requirement is not a primary factor.

Medium Strength Concrete

Products in this group are still only used when strength is not the main factor of your concrete application.

High Strength Concrete
