FND mixes are designed to provide appropriate resistance to chemicals found in the ground - mainly Sulfates.
These mixes are used in foundation applications
FND mixes have specified minimum cement contents and water cement ratios as well as being avaliable in only one cement type.
Engineers will analyse the soil and report back the required the chemical resistance needed using a DC value. This DC value will denote the FND mix you need.
DC3 level = FND3 concrete mix
FND2 Concrete
FND mixes are designed to provide appropriate resistance to chemicals found in the ground - mainly Sulfates. These mixes are mainly used on brown field sites.
Applications:
Foundations
Footings
FND3 Concrete
FND mixes are designed to provide appropriate resistance to chemicals found in the ground - mainly Sulfates. These mixes are mainly used on brown field sites.
An FND3 mix offers slightly more strength and higher chemical resistance when compared to the FND2.
Applications:
Foundations
Footings
FND4 Concrete
FND mixes are designed to provide appropriate resistance to chemicals found in the ground - mainly Sulfates. These mixes are mainly used on brown field sites.
An FND4 mix offers more strength and higher chemical resistance when compared to the FND2 and FND3.
