To ensure that your concrete doesn’t dry out too quickly, we advise that the product is placed on a well compacted sub base layer, which has in turn been covered with a layer of plastic sheeting.
Excessive moisture loss will attribute to unwanted dry shrinkage cracking - so Drivecrete must not be allowed to dry out too quickly. We highly recommend that you make provisions to cover your concrete with plastic sheeting once it is has been laid.

No, we pre-mix the concrete at our batching plant (as per each individual order) and then deliver this to you (ready to use) on our truck mixers. There is no extra 'just in case'. Please ensure you check your measurements carefully to ensure you are ordering the correct amount. If you over or under order, it can be very costly. Please use our Concrete Calculator to assist you.
No, we only provide the pre-mixed concrete to you on our mixer truck. The offload and laying of the concrete would be down to you. You may already have a builder for this or may need to hire someone. Alternatively, you may decide to do the work yourself with help from friends or family. If this is the case please look at our How to guides for assistance and please thoroughly read and watch our concrete Health & Safety information.

Exposure to wet concrete can result in skin irritation or even first, second- or third-degree chemical burns. It is important to always wear full PPE. If your skin comes into contact with wet concrete wash with water immediately and seek medical advice. Read our H&S guidance for further support.
Wearing the right clothing to handle concrete is highly important and essential for your safety. You may be refused on site without the correct PPE with you. Minimum levels of correct PPE should be worn by everyone involved in the laying of the concrete delivery.
