It's simple, 'SLUMP' means the consistency of the concrete mix before it sets. Consistency ranges from dry to wet concrete. The lower the slump number the drier the concrete. We supply concrete in four slump classes: S1, S2, S3, S4. Dry concrete mix = S1 and a fluid wet mix = S4. You will need to select the correct slump to ensure easy placement of your concrete depending on where and how the concrete is being placed and for what purpose. Check out our blog on slumps for more information.
You have 1 hour to offload the truck. After that you will be charged at £3 per minute over. Check out our how-to top tips on offloading concrete.
We will always do our best to deliver your concrete all in weather conditions. No, we only provide the pre-mixed concrete to you on our mixer truck. The offload and laying of the concrete would be down to you. You may already have a builder for this or may need to hire someone. Alternatively, you may decide to do the work yourself with help from friends or family. If this is the case please look at our How to guides for assistance and please thoroughly read and watch our concrete Health & Safety information.
