Frequently Asked Questions
  • Can I see the concrete before I start offloading?

You can not see into the concrete mixer drum but our drivers will be happy to run a small amount of concrete down the lorry shoot so you can have a quick look at the consistency. Please be mindful this is only possible if you are offloading the truck as a 'straight tip' into an area or you place a wheelbarrow under the shoot to catch the test concrete. Read our how-to on the day of delivery for more information.

  • Will the weather effect my delivery?

We will always do our best to deliver your concrete all in weather conditions. However please be mindful that some products may not be suitable to lay in conditions below 5 degrees and over 30 degrees. It is best you keep an eye on the forecast and speak to a member of our sales or technical team via our online chat or contact us if you are unsure.

  • How do I get a proof of delivery note?

Our truck drivers once the delivery has been made will ask for a full name and signature on their mobile device as proof of delivery. This delivery note, with your signature on, will be email over to the address given at the point of placing the order. Any questions please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help.

  • What is 'Newtons' strength?

A 'Newton' is a strength measurement per square millimeter after 28 days of curing (ie; from being laid). The higher the Newton strength the stronger the concrete.
