This type of concrete mix is used in a broad range of applications such as kerb backing, slab work etc. A Standard Mix (ST) has set cement contents as defined in BS 8500-2 but with no guaranteed design strength. It consists of cement, water, stone and graded sand. An ST3 is the middle of the strength scale of our ST mixes, meaning that the consistency of the mix is dry yet still allows fluidity. This would be used when strength is a factor in your application, as well as fluidity.
