Reinforced concrete (RC)

Where strength and durability is required.

Reinforced Concrete (RC) mixes are designed to reach a required strength and durability, they are quality assured and meet the requirements of British Standard BS 8500-2.

RC25 ready mix concrete is often specified and used in parts of a building where the designer has included steel reinforcement.

RC30 ready mix concrete is normally used in concrete floors with reinforcing steel, the minimum cement content in RC30 concrete helps to lessen the risk of the steel being attacked by chlorides, thus minimising any chance of corrosion.

RC35 ready mix concrete is normally used in small concrete frames and industrial floors that are intended for general use.

RC40 ready mix concrete is intended for reinforced concrete frame structures and heavy duty industrial floors.
