Each mix is designed to comply with a compressive strength denoted by the class of mix, which is quality assured to meet British/European standards, BS 8500-2.
For example a C25/30 is required to reach a compressive strength of 30 Newton’s after twenty eight days. Strengths can range from 10 Newton’s through to high strength concrete mixes at 50 Newton’s.
